Almond Chocolate holi truffle balls
The first and foremost choice of mine would be “Almond Chocolate holi truffle balls”. These Holi truffle balls not just looks aesthetic but at the same time very delicious and healthy.
What you need
- Almonds
- Dates
- Almond butter
- Desiccated coconut
How to Prepare
Slightly roast the almonds and desiccated coconut on mild flame. Add them to your mixie jar and grind them together. Along with that add soft dates and almond butter. Grind it further until you feel it is perfect to make balls out of it.
You can also coat them with colorful coating. Take some almonds, pistachio, dry strawberry, desiccated coconut and dark chocolate. Grind all of them separately and keep them on a separate plate, except for the chocolate wafer.
Take the dark chocolate wafer and add some coconut oil and keep it in the microwave oven for around one minute, till the chocolate melts.
Take the balls with the fork and dip in the melted chocolate and then coat it with the crushed almonds, pistachio, strawberry and desiccated coconut separately.

This kulfi recipe that we have with us is the easiest and simplest kulfi you will ever see because if you want to make kulfi traditionally, it will take hours and hours of boiling the milk. We will have to thicken the milk in order to make a perfect kulfi but here we have a shortcut to do it and the result will be as amazing as the traditional ones.

- Almonds
- Pistachio
- Heavy Cream
- Milk
- Condensed milk
- Cardomom
- Nuts
How to Prepare
Take almonds and pistachio and grind it coarsely.
We are going to take a cup of heavy cream, evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk and mix it all well together. Add cardamom and nuts to give the epic fragrance of kulfi.
Take a kulfi mold or use a disposable cup and pour the mixture into it. Close the cup using silver foil and poke an ice cream stick into it and freeze it in the fridge.

How to Prepare
Take good quality cashews and grind them well in a good texture and sieve it to obtain the good quality cashew powder alone.
Let’s prepare the Sheera or the sweet syrup. Take a pan and pour a cup of water and add sugar to it. Let it boil until comes to a good consistency. Then add the cashew powder into it, keep the stove on low flame. Add a little bit of ghee, rose water, and cardamom.
Keep stirring until it comes to a paste like consistency.
Pour on a butter paper and let it cool down. Once it’s cool, knead the flour and later make it something like a chapatti. But keep it thicker and finally cut it into multiple diamond shapes. Serve it in a plate and it’s done!
Bread halwa
Halwa is everyone’s favourite and making bread halwa is very easy and bread is something that’s easily available in any household.

- Saffron

- Cashew
- Ghee
- Bread
How to Prepare
Take little saffron and soak it in warm water.
Fry the cashews using ghee and keep it aside.
Cut the edges of the bread and cut the bread into smaller pieces. Fry the bread on a pan using ghee. It should be crispy. Once it’s done keep it aside.
Pour water in the pan and add sugar to it. Allow it to boil thoroughly. Now when the syrup is in good consistency, put the bread into the pan, allow it to absorb the sugar syrup for 1 to 3 minutes. Add khoya, saffron water and fried cashews into it and mix well. Well, don’t over mix, we still want to make it look like a bread.

Rice Kheer
Kheer is one easy and regularly prepared sweet at any household to celebrate any good news or occasions. In the northern part of India it is called Kheer and in southern parts of India, it is well known as Payasam.

How to Prepare
Take rice and wash it thoroughly. It is highly recommended to use basmati rice, if you don’t have basmati, you can use any rice. Soak the rice in water for around 15 minutes.
We will be making this kheer using pressure cooker as it is easier and not a tedious task. You don’t to stir continuously.
Add ghee and put the almond, cashews and raisons into it and fry it well. Make sure you cut the nuts into fine little pieces.
Now add water into it, to avoid burning the bottom of the cooker, as it might ruin the taste of the kheer with its burnt smell.
Add milk, rice and saffron and mix it well. Then close the lid of the cooker and allow it to cook. Within few minutes your kheer would be ready.
