I am going to share with you 5 Uses of Coconut Oil in My Life.  How are you all? Yes yes it has been a very long time that i have posted anything on the blog.I was trying to get a new look to the website. So how did you find the new look?? Comment below.Today I wanted to talk to you about the most underrated ingredient of our daily life. “Coconut oil” .

5 Uses of Coconut Oil in My Life

Coconut oil can be considered as a wonder oil with its usage in all aspects . It can be used skin care, hair care, weight loss, treating infections, improving digestion, and boosting immunity.

Today I am sharing ways in which I use coconut oil in my life.

As a deep-conditioner

We all have used Coconut oil as a regular massage oil for our hair. But did you know the oil massage if done regularly works as the best conditioning for your hair. Coconut oil smaller medium-chain fatty acids which penetrated into the hair more deeply and faster than other conditioners.

All you need to do is

  1. Heat the coconut oil to luke warm.
  2. Apply coconut oil in small portion of your scalp by parting your hair in small parts.
  3. Apply generously through your hair strands.
  4. Take a hot towel and wrap your hair in it. This will let the oil penetrate through the roots for deep nourishment.
  5. Shampoo after 45 mins to 1 hour.



To soothe dry hands

Not many people are aware that I had super dry hands a few years ago. Dry to the extent that at time it feels like a piece of wood if you touch my palm( 😛 ).

All I did was made it a ritual to apply coconut oil to my palms as an when I got a chance.

Specially before sleeping at night. It worked wonders and my hands are super soft today with no evidence of dryness.

To remove makeup

We all spend exuberant amount of money in makeup removers. Did you know it takes just a few drops of coconut oil and a cotton pad to remove all your makeup.

All you have to do is

  1. Take a cotton pad
  2. Add a few drops of coconut oil on it.
  3. Put the cotton pad on the area of your face you want to take off makeup(example: eye makeup) for 10 seconds.
  4. TADA!! the makeup is gone.

It not only removed the makeup but also nourishes the skin.

Speeds Up Healing

Coconut oil forms will for a layer on a bruise protecting the body part from any kind of infection due to external dust, air, fungi, bacteria, and viruses.

This helps speeding the healing process.



Massaging my baby

For massaging my baby I prefer oils readily available at home.

In winters I preferred using almond oil or mustard oil. (checkout the video where I share how I massage my baby)

I use coconut oil in summers to utilize the cooling property of coconut oil.

It nourishes my baby’s skin leaving it soft and smooth.
