C- Celebrate Small Wins

We are living in a very fast pacing world where no one stops for anyone and hence expecting others to appreciate you is probably a wrong expectation from the world. It is important to Celebrate our Small Wins because no one is going to take time to celebrate you every now and then unless you give that much love and importance to yourself (Self-care you see ). After all, even this is true that a person cannot survive without the constant follow of compliments and appreciation.

Self-care – Celebrate Small Wins

As soon as we hear these two words “Compliments” and “Appreciation” it might supremely seem really weird because we always expect to receive appreciation and compliments from other people. When we give such a big responsibility of keeping in the game and motivated by other people’s hands, it always tends to go south. What do we mean by that? You might have heard this phrase “Happiness comes within” it is one of the very oldest sayings but no one tends to give a fair share of attention to it. This phrase simply means, your happiness is not dependent upon any external source but you yourself. When you take the responsibility of keeping yourself happy, motivated and uplifted, the result is always positive.

When you take time to actually celebrate your small victories, you will be highly energetic and motivated. It is like self-patting yourself for the good work you have done. When you do this, it is a reminder that you are moving somewhere and you’ve made some progress and not standing in the start line which in itself is a great thing. These celebrations will fill you with the utmost happiness and fulfillment.

And also, whenever you read a self help book, you will always find authors and experts saying break down your goal and make them into short term goals, as it will become more achievable and once you achieve it, a little celebration will be more motivating to complete the next task on table.

And finally, these celebrations will build your confidence level at a great stretch. When you keep on focusing on obstacles and difficulties on your path to your goal, your mind might get really accustomed to these kinds of negative vibes but on the other hand when you celebrate little things on a regular basis, it will give a positive outlook towards the world. And that is how your confidence is built.
