We all know that success doesn’t happen overnight. Success is a constant conviction and working towards your goals, dreams, and aspiration. Hence, routine behavior, or habits, helps Successful people achieve their career goals. Sharing with you today some habits of successful women that will help you reach your goals.
I am a slow learner and still learning from these habits and what I have observed is that when I practice these habits, it helps me structure my day. I cannot emphasize enough of how essential a structured day is for all of us.
These habits are achievable. The habits are easy to incorporate in your daily routine and the plus point is it will help you focus on your life and goals.
Habits of Successful Women
Morning Routine
Our body loves routine and consistency. So if you enable a routine and get up at the same time every morning and perform certain tasks as part of your routine, your body and minds know and understand better what are we supposed to do for the rest of the day.
Meditate
Is there still anyone who does not believe in the power of meditation? I cannot stress enough how important meditation is. Meditation helps aid mental health as well as the immune system ( yes even I didn’t know that).
Meditaion does not always mean sitting in a cris cross legged position and chanting mantras for long hours. You can practice meditation anytime when you have a some quite time and some personal space. So try meditation at home and not in your work place.
By practicing 10 mins of meditation for past couple of months, I have seen improvement in my day to day thinking, approach towards various challenges and also an improvement in health.
Keep Hydration up
Not until 2016 when I lost 8 kgs in a day, I could understand the importance of having water during the day. Whether is it infused water or normal regular water, staying hydrated throughout the day makes sure that your mind and body are at the top of their game and functioning the best.
Drinking adequate water helps reduce hunger( sometime you just need water ), helps in digestion and also aids brain functions.
Listen to Pod Casts and TED talks
There is always a POD cast or a TED talk in your topic of interest. Listen to them, listen to others sharing their experiences and expertise. This helps in gaining important insight into your passion, help you get inspired and also motivates you to work towards your goal and success.
I feel POD casts and TED talks are very constructive form of entertainment which helps you improve your general knowledge and even boost your perspective.

Write down your To-Do List
Creating a To-Do list helps turn ideas into tasks and also helps in managing them better. Whether you use a pencil and paper, white board and marker or an app, writing the to-do list is the key.
The list helps you in more ways than you can think:
- It’s a list of things you actually have to do.
- Hence help you manage your time and energy better.
- And feel less anxious on the number of tasks you have in mind.
When you strike off the tasks out of that list, it works as a signal to the brain of being rewarded.
Visualise your success
“Fake it till you make it”
Simply means visualize your success until you get it. By visualizing your dream, what you want, or what you consider success to look like you signal the brain and create a cohesive goal towards your success.
Visualization also helps you as it works as a map for your, you would know where you are going and which track is easier to achieve your goals, landmarks in your success journey and also in identifying the end goal when you are about to achieve it.
